163) 4 REASONS WHY YOU DON'T HAVE THE DESIRED BODY SHAPE


You watch what you eat and make sure it is a healthy diet.  Your shelf is full of vitamins, green teas and protein shakes.  You have been diligently exercising for the past six months.  And yet, your body shape did not get any better.  Now why is that?


It is a catch 22 situation.  You may blame it on genetics or presume that the people smiling back at you on magazine covers are on to something that you don't know about and the green monster is telling you that perhaps it was illegal.

Jokes aside, your body may not be shaping up the way that you desire is because of four possible explanations.

Reason No. One-Involved in a toxic relationship


Almost everyday, both of you are arguing, nit picking and throwing volleys at every turn. 

It creates a very stressful environment that, healthwise, is the worst thing for your body 


and mind.


This is not confined to your spouses or partners but a host of other people that you have to come into contact with on a daily basis namely, demanding parents and in-laws, a lousy boss, and unreliable co-workers, friends, and even acquaintances, can put pressure on your system resulting in you holding onto fat,  specifically around your belly.



Well, to cut of the ties is next to impossible.  You are literary stuck with the overbearing parents and in-laws.  Of course, you can switch jobs when it comes to your boss and co-workers but until you do, you have to bear with them.




Make every effort to avoid and cut out all the negative people in your life and you definitely will be healthier and happier.

Reason No. Two-Food Intolerance


You may unfortunately belong to a group of people who are intolerant to certain types of 


food.  It is a stealth version of a food allergy.  The kind that causes inflammations in the 


body.  You may not get a full blown, swollen-faced allergic reaction, but a hidden from view, 


low key inflammation that disrupts your system.  



If you suspect that this could be the possible reason, shedding the pounds is not the problem 


but lies in the food that you take.  The 5 most common intolerant people should avoid are


  • Eggs
  • Nuts
  • Soy
  • Wheat
  • Dairy
However, you may not be confined to these foods as it can be anything across the food board such as:

  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Pineapple
  • Eggplant


If you are following a fat loss program that dictates your diet, the more you eat those recommended food, it is more than likely that your body will become intolerant toward those food.


To identify the culprits, you may have to undergo a intolerance blood test and try an elimination diet.  Sometimes, by eliminating these foods is all you need to get your body back on track.

Reason No. Three  Your toxin level is through the roof


In other words, you are polluted!  And mainly the toxins are caused by the environmental


factor such as:


  • Pollution
  • Cigarette smoke
  • Cosmetics
  • Metal Tooth Fillings
  • Prescription Drugs
  • Mercury in fish that are stored in your fat cells and may be a potential trigger that will attack your immune system causing various illnesses.
So, the body's defense mechanism kicks in and does not burn those fat cells for fuel.  If it does, it will release these toxins into your blood stream and it can make you very ill.


The only way to get rid of these "illegal immigrants," and drop off those last few pounds of hardcore fat is to detox.  You may try the following:

If the answer is yes, stop and look around you at the other members in your gym who are soaked in sweat and having a buffed bod.  It is a good chance that they are actively pushing themselves, working furiously, and continually changing their routines.


Their bodies are toned and sculpted not because it was by accident or genetics but they work hard at keeping it that way which means that if they can do it,  so can you.
