Scrubbing helps to rid of dead skin that accumulates overtime on your body. With regular scrubbing, you will be left with baby smooth skin. To get the same results in your own bath, follow these tips:

Know what is the Right Scrub to use

Sugar makes the best scrubs compared to the drying salt scrubs.

However, be sure to check the type of scrub you get as some cheap versions have large granules that can scratch and tear at the skin.

That's what a Bath Mitt or Bath Gloves are for.
Nothing works better that bath gloves to slough off the layers of dead skin and you can throw them in the washing machine after use. Allow them air dry.
You can get them online or from shops selling body care products like "Body Shop."

Bottoms up

With a circular motion, start your scrub routine by massaging from your feet and up the legs and the torso.

Continue towards your fingertips and then massage up the arm.

How many times should you scrub?

If you are scrubbing everyday, you have to stop.  Avoid over-exfoliating and just do this a couple times a week.  For those who have sensitive skin, consider a lighter touch.

Should you scrub after you shave?

Well, you shouldn't because you risk stinging your skin.  However, you can do the opposite and that is have a good scrub before shaving.

By scrubbing first, it can help to strip off the dead skin cells that may clog up your razor.

Make body oil your next best friend

After a thorough scrubbing from head to toe, remember to slather on a layer of oil such as extra virgin coconut oil or even a thick moisturizer.

Other oils such as olive oil, jojoba oil will work as well.  It is to keep the skin from drying out.
